University of Hong Kong - University of Toronto Joint PhD Degree Programme
Department of Biochemistry, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Molecular Genetics, the University of Toronto (UofT) to establish a joint PhD degree programme. Under this scheme, students participate in a Joint PhD Placement at both HKU and UofT. Students will carry out research work at both HKU and UofT. HKU and UofT will jointly award a single PhD degree to research students for their research undertaken at both HKU and UofT.
Prospective postgraduate students are encouraged to discuss with their prospective supervisors for possible placement under the jointly awarded PhD degree programme.
